Therapy & Wellbeing

Peace Clinic

In the newly branded “Peace Holistic Community Clinic”, named after one of the founding therapists – Sydomnne Peace. This incredible team includes homoeopaths, acupuncturists, kinesiologists and craniosacral practitioners, many of whom have been with us since our early days on the green. They have remained committed to our mission of granting access to those who need it most and keeping mental health and well-being at the forefront of everything we do.

Our Peace Clinic is a bi-monthly complimentary service to our community funded by donations. It remains staffed by volunteer therapists, with more skilled practitioners continually joining our ever-growing team.

Our therapy days currently run on the second Monday and last Thursday of every month, and information is on our dedicated Facebook page: facebook.com/KOTGTherapies.

Animal and Nature Interventions.

Our founder Zoe has always been an advocate for the positive impacts between human and animal interactions, in support of mental health and wellbeing. Kissy the Snake and Mavis the Chihuahua were the first animals to join the KOTG team early on, and were later accompanied by Safari Pete and his wide collection of wildlife. In 2019, well-known Beatboxer and friend of KOTG “BeatFox” donated four corn snakes who now live with us at KOTG HQ. The snakes: Amber, Crystal, Plato, and Joey are much loved by the children and young people, becoming a part of our service with feeding days that are popular and facilitated by our members.

Since 2022, KOTG has been partnered with Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre to deliver the British Horse Society “Changing Lives with Horses” programme of Equine therapy.

KOTG will soon be launching its Wild Wednesdays for children aged 4-12 and continues to explore ways animal-human interactions can benefit mental health, build compassion, and tackle PTSD.

This year we hope to take its first cohort of young people to Andalusia, Southern Spain on an animal and nature-inspired retreat.
